TABLE OF CONTENTS

When you select a workspace, the main area (excluding the Header and Sidebar) displays tools and information specific to that workspace.

In each workspace you have five main pages:

  • Dashboard
  • People
  • Objectives
  • Tasks
  • Assessments

Assessments

The Assessments page provides a user-friendly and versatile tool to evaluate teams (peer assessments), measure performance, or send polls and quick questionnaires to everyone, selected individuals, or specific teams.

Assessments can be created by owners or admins, and results can either be shared with all members or kept private, depending on the owner’s preference.

Assessment Types (Peer vs. General)

In Pandos, there are two types of assessments — Peer and General — each serving a different purpose:

Peer Assessments

  • Peer Assessments are designed to evaluate teamwork and collaboration,
  • You can assess one or more teams
  • Each team member must answer the questionnaire for every other member of their team. This means you’ll receive multiple responses per question from each respondent (one for each teammate).
  • You can either create your own questions or use labeled questions provided by Pandos.
  • When you use labeled questions in Likert type, the results contribute to members’ badges on their profiles. (Read more : How do profile badges work?)

General Assessments

  • General Assessments are broader and more flexible — ideal for surveys, feedback forms, or performance evaluations
  • You can assess to individuals or teams
  • Each respondent submits one response per question
  • Unlike peer assessments, results from general assessments do not affect profile badges.

Here’s the comparison in a clear table format:

Creating a New Assessment

Click the + icon on top right of the assessment page to open Create Assessment modal.

Fill in the assessment information:
  • Name: Enter your Assessment’s name.
  • Type: Specify the assessment type.
  • Assigned to: In Peer Assessments you can only assign teams, while in General Assessment you can assign either teams or individuals.
  • Assignees: If the assessment is assigned to specific individuals or teams, a dropdown list will appear next, allowing you to choose the assignees.
  • Reviewers: Reviewers can access the Assessment results.
  • Start and due dates: By default, the start date for the Assessment is set as the date it is created. Members would not be able to see the assessment until the start date.
  • Late submission policy: If there is a due date, indicate if you allow late submissions.
  • Edit submission policy: Indicate if you allow the assignees to edit their submissions.
  • Comments settings: Indicate if you want to require assignees to add a comment for each question, make it optional, or disable it.

If the workspace setting is set to “Members can access: Their own work only,” you'll see two additional fields, allowing you to grant access to the assessment report to all members.

  • Comments access: Indicate who can see the comments: Everyone, only teammates, or only owner/admin(s)
  • Report access: Indicate whether you would like members to have full access to the result report, view the result anonymously, or have no access to the result.

Questions

Click the Questions tab on the top of the modal to create your questionnaire.

If it's a General Assessmentsimply add your questions and select a question type: Choice (turn on checkboxes to allow multiple answers), Likert (a 1–5 rating scale), or Text (open-ended responses).

If it’s a Peer Assessment, you can also select from Labeled Questions. When you set the question type to Likert with labeled questions, the results will contribute to members’ profile badges. (Read more : How do profile badges work?)

Inside an Assessment

Click the Assessment you created to open its page. (Accessible to reviewers by default; you can also grant access to assignees in the assessment settings.)

Note: If the workspace setting is “Members can access everyone’s work,” anyone in the workspace can see a progress report, even if they are not an assignee or reviewer.

Peer Assessment

Assessment Info Board

On the left side of the assessment, you’ll find key details such as the assessment's workspace type, assignee(s), reviewer(s), start and due dates, and settings.

Assessment Report

In the Peer Assessment report, you will see the list of members of the assessed team(s). If an individual belongs to multiple teams, their name will appear more than once, as their performance needs to be evaluated separately within each team. Each row in the report includes the following information:

  • Members: Name of the person being assessed.
  • Status: Whether they have completed their assessment "" , or not "".
  • Team: The team to which the member belongs.
  • Own Opinion: The average score the member gave themselves.
  • Teammates Opinion: The average score given by their teammates.
  •  Assessors Progress: A progress bar showing how far teammates’ evaluations have been completed.
  •  Assessors Report () : Click to see who has already assessed this member (before all evaluations are completed).
  • Reminder (): Click to send a reminder email to the member.
You can click () to send reminder email to all members who have not completed the assessment.

Peer Assessment Results

When all team members have completed the assessment, click the () icon in front of each member’s name to view their full report.

At the top of the report, you can compare the average score given by all teammates across all questions (T) to the score the member gave themselves (O), on a Likert scale.

Below that, you’ll find detailed results for each question, including:

  • The question text and its associated label (if applicable).

  • The average teammates’ score and the member’s self-score for that question, both shown on a Likert scale.

  • A breakdown of how each teammate rated the member for that specific question.

If, in the assessment settings, you set “Assignees can see the anonymized assessment report,” assignees will be able to view the average score they gave themselves and the average scores from all teammates for each question once the assessment is completed by everyone.
