TABLE OF CONTENTS
Hi, thank you for choosing Pandos! Whether you're a class instructor, own a five-person startup, or manage people in a large multinational corporation, Pandos has a wide range of features to offer to make your work smooth and efficient. This guideline will walk you through step by step, helping you make the most out of the platform.
Creating an account
Similar to any other platform, you need to first create an account in Pandos. You have the option to log in using your email and password or directly through your Gmail, Facebook, Linkedin, or Microsoft accounts. Choose the method that suits you best and get started with ease.
After creating an account check your email for a confirmation message to complete your registration.
Note: Your email address will be used as your username and will be shared with your team on your profile.
Note: Pandos prioritizes the security and privacy of its users. To learn more about our commitment to safeguarding your information, please read our comprehensive Privacy Policy
Creating a Workspace
If it’s your first time in Pandos, upon login you will be directed to a page to create your workspace. But if you are already a Pandos user, go to the Workspaces page by clicking on on the top of the left menu bar, then click on the + icon on the top right corner of the page.
Workspace General Information
First, determine the specifications of your workspace:
Title: It will be shown as the name of your workspace
Description: Write a short description of what the workspace is about.
Colour: Choose the colour for your workspace label.
Initials: Your workspace will be shown with its initials in the Workspaces bar.
Workspace Types
Specify your workspace type from a drop-down list.
Some workspace types require additional information. For instance, course workspaces need you to indicate if they are instructor-paced or student-paced. And for an instructor-paced course, you will need to also schedule the course.
Workspace Settings
Workspace settings determine its functionality. You need to assign the appropriate permissions and access levels for individuals and teams to view or modify.
Members can access:
- Their own work only: If selected, users only see the objectives, tasks and assessments for which they are the owner, assignee, or reviewer.
- Everyone’s work: If selected, users can see all the objectives, tasks and assessments created in the workspace regardless of their role for them.
Teams can be created by:
- Owner/Admin: If selected, only the Owner and Admin of the workspace can create teams (Read more about workspace roles here).
- Everyone: If selected, anyone in the workspace can create teams and move members between teams.
Members can assign tasks/subtasks to:
- Everyone in the workspace: If selected, anyone can assign tasks and subtasks to other workspace members.
- Themselves and their teammates: If selected, members can only assign tasks and subtasks to themselves and those they share a team with.
Workspace members:
- Can see other teams: If selected, everyone in the workspace can access and view all other available teams.
- Cannot see other members and teams: If selected, only owners and admins can see the available teams and members cannot see the teams.

Inviting people to a workspace
There are different ways to add new people to your workspace
On the Workspaces page, you can click on the "⋮" icon on the top right of your workspace tile, and select Invite from the drop-down menu.
Or, open your workspace and select the People page. Then, click theicon on the top right of the People list.
You can then invite individuals either by sharing your workspace-specific link, ...
… or sending the invitation link to their email.
You can add names and emails manually or import them from a CSV file.
Click on the “pending invitation” link to see the emails of the people who have not joined your workspace yet, even though you have invited them.
Note: you need to make sure that the individuals want to create the account with the email you are providing as they will receive workspace notifications in this email.
